Joel was another of the neighborhood kids that I grew up with. Joel is an eccentric cat, to say the least. He's also a great, naturally talented artist. I remember when everyone was really into Dragon Ball Z he would always draw the characters from that show with such ease he may as well have been working on the show himself, and this before most of us even had pubes. One of things that I remember most about Joel is the little phrases he would throw out like "You're such a Martin" as a go to insult or saying "Buu Saga" which I still have no idea what it meant. My favorite quote that he did though has to be of Towelie from South Park. This kid would do a spot on impression of that character that would have me in stitches.
Last I heard he was out of Michigan, no idea what he's up to these days but hopefully he's putting his skills to good use and making people laugh their asses off.
