Garett is a dude that I knew in elementary school. I lived like fifteen minutes away from the
school I was zoned in so my bus usually contained kids from all over the place,
and for a few years Garett was one of those kids. Since most memories tend to fade after a
decade + passes, unfortunately I don’t have all that interesting of a story to
tell you. What I can say is this: the
kid I remember was a goofy, funny, just generally nice guy who could talk to
anyone and make just about anyone feel comfortable. We were never great friends or anything, but
Garett was always a cool dude and I’m glad I got to know him.
These days Garett is somewhat of a social networking legend
and has over a million followers on Twitter.
Let me repeat that; a MILLION followers
on Twitter. I don’t know how the hell he
managed to pull that shit off (Steve motherfucking Carell’s official account
only has 750,000) but he did. Congrats
man, if you can do that before you’re 25 I’m sure you’ll be doing be things for
years to come.
