My favorite memory of Melissa has to be from when she and Dominic visited me in the fall of my junior year at MSU. Melissa is a little shy when you first see her, and at the beginning of the night she was still a little timid. But once a few drinks were flowing and we started to have a good time, she really started to open up and the group of us had a great time for just hanging out and drinking in an apartment all night. At one point Melissa brought up how she wanted to have a miniature pig as a pet, and that quote ended up being incorporated in the photo album I made for the night, arguably my favorite impromptu photo session to date, mostly because of a scarf she brought, ha. It's amazing what can happen when you pass around a DSLR during a night of drunken splendor...I suggest everyone try it at least one.
There isn't enough I could say about Melissa, other than that she is a phenomenal human being and the member of one of my favorite families: the Breathtaking Basels. I haven't seen her in a while as of writing this, but I sure hope I get to see her soon because I have pretty great memories with that girl and if there's one thing that never gets old, it's making memories.
