When I was in the seventh grade, AOL instant messenger was where it was at to hit on girls, and one of the lucky people who got some of my best efforts was Jessica. Jessica, a pretty, thin, blonde girl, probably had numerous suitors that year, but I doubt many of them used the John Mayer technique of feeding her lines from "Your Body is a Wonderland." I went through the song line by line, and chances are you know the song so I won't go into details, but there is one line I remember distinctly for the response she gave me. The line was about her "bubblegum tongue" to which she responded something along the lines of "Lol, how would you know?" Sick burn, right? Unfortunately for me, I never did know if she had a bubblegum tongue or not, because in this pursuit I was unsuccessful.
